Firstly, I wanna say thank’s to my friend who gives me this book, the biography of Corrie Ten Boom. When I read this book, I think not just her candidated as a heroine but her family is hero. Her parents is an example of Christian parents must be. She lived with her three Aunt, Jan, Bep, and Anna. Her Family always read bible everyday. Her Dad always have a spirit to tell another people about Jesus. Witnessing about Jesus is one of their family principles.

Her family is an active people. Her Dad builds a fellowship for praying Jewish. Aunt Jan is organizing soldier and helping them by collecting funds for building new building. Aunt Anna is encouraging and helping young servants. Betsie, her sister is a Sunday School teacher. Corrie also has a small group of girl.

Her life is not smooth. When Hitler reign, her country was interrupted too by Nazy. Nederland is her nationality. Her homes is a base for helping Jewish people. A lot of intense when Gestapo comes. The hardest experience comes when they caught by Gestapo because hiding Jewish in their house.

A lot of uncomfortable things comes. Corrie with Betsie in the same Concentration Camp but they separated with Dad and Nollie (her sister). In the camp Corrie learn a lot of things. She learn to give thank’s to Jesus for a little kindness or grace that given to her or her sister. Bible is her spirit to live whether Bible is a forbidden thing.

A test in her life comes when she was released from Concentration Camp. She tried to spreading the good news about Jesus and telling people about her experience in the camp. A guard from her Concentration Camp comes in her event and ask for forgiveness from her. There’s an quarrel in her mind to forgive or not about this man. She convinced her heart by telling that Jesus taughts us to forgive everyone and praying our enemies. She must forgave this man. When she did it, she felt peace and joy, there’s no revenge or heartache again in her heart.

She has a mission to spread the good news about Jesus not only in Europe but to another continents. She started with America. She wrote books and making movies of her life when she became famous about her sermons and stories. She has traveling to Cuba, Africa, India, Argentina, Korea to spread the gospel. She always witnessing other about Jesus until the end of her life. Her courage for spreading gospel never tired.

I learn from Corrie’s life that being Christian is not easy. Her courage, give thank’s to God daily for little things we’ve got, be brave whether the death consequence is front of our life, always motivates our spirit to spread the gospel are the lessons that I’ve got from this book. The last but not the least, I wanna say thank’s again to my friend who gives me this book and I wanna say sorry too because it’s need a special time to read this book. The last, my special thank’s is to Jesus that He gives me time to read this book and encouraging me to spread the gospel for another people.
